Who We Are:
Every Sunday morning and Wednesday evening, Selah Kids Ministry meets for a time of worship, bible lessons, crafts, and snack time. We believe that our children's ministry is one of the most important ministries here at Selah Hills Church as we come alongside our families to train up each child that walks through our doors, in the Lord. We have the most wonderful team of servants and coordinators that volunteer their time to pour into the many kids that fill our classrooms each week. Every servant, volunteer, and staff member that serves here at Selah Hills must go through a background check to ensure the safety of your children. We also have a secured check-in process where each child and parent will receive a matching sticker with the child's check-in code, to ensure that each child is checked in and out by the same parent with their specific code. We also use our Kid check codes to alert parents during service in the case of any emergency or if anyone just needs their mommy or daddy, by submitting the child's code to the tech team, who will then notify the parent by putting their corresponding code on the main screen.
Our Focus:
Our focus in each classroom, ranging from nursery to 5th grade, is to equip our children with a time of worship through singing and dancing, an age appropriate bible lesson that encourages our students to understand the word of God and to memorize bible verses. We use the Calvary Curriculum as a foundational tool along with interactive games, crafts, and short bible story videos to help our kids learn and grow in God's word. We also encourage our kids to learn key tools they can use as they continue to grow in their relationship with the Lord by having a BIBLE BUCKS STORE for grades pre- K through 5th, where students receive the opportunity to earn "Bible Bucks" by:
- attending class ($1 in bible bucks)
- bringing your bible ($1 in bible bucks)
- memorizing your weekly bible verse ($5 in bible bucks)
- bringing a friend ($10 in bible bucks)

To ensure a safe and secure environment for all of our kids, we have a check-in system set in place. If you are a new family or just visiting, please visit our Welcome Table to get connected and receive step-by step instructions on how to securely check-in your children.
