Heritage Homeschool ministry

"BEHOLD, CHILDREN ARE A HERITAGE FROM THE LORD" PSALM 127:3

Mission:
The mission of Heritage Homeschool is to foster relationships and connection between homeschooling families within the body of Christ at Selah Hills Church. Heritage partners with homeschooling families by providing time and space for children and parents to form friendships with one another and create lasting memories. Through consistent meetups, mothers can build relationships as co-laborers in Christian home education. In turn, these relationships provide encouragement, spurring them on in faith and steadfastness as they nurture and disciple the next generation.

Overview:
Heritage aims to serve families who have at least one elementary aged homeschooled child. Siblings of any age are also welcome, and middle and high school aged siblings are encouraged to attend and enjoy a separate youth activity. Heritage facilitates two gatherings per month on Friday mornings during the school year. Gatherings are usually at parks and consist primarily of unstructured, play-based activities for children and a time of family fellowship. In addition to twice monthly meet ups, Heritage offers additional fellowship opportunities such as occasional field trips, holiday parties, and mom-only events.
