Who We Are:
Every Sunday morning, Selah Kids Ministry meets for a time of worship, Bible lessons, games, and snack time. We believe that our children's ministry is one of the most important ministries here at Selah Hills Church as we come alongside our families to train up each child that walks through our doors, in the Lord. We have the most wonderful team of servants and coordinators that volunteer their time to pour into the many kids that fill our classrooms each week.
OUR FOCUS:
Selah Hills Church is excited to offer classes from nursery to 5th grade. Our focus is to equip your children with a time of worship through singing and dancing, an age appropriate Bible lesson that encourages our students to understand the word of God and to memorize bible verses. We use the Answers in Genesis curriculum as a foundational teaching tool, along with interactive games and crafts, to help our kids learn and grow in God's word.
KID CHECK-IN:
To ensure a safe and secure environment for all of our kids, we have a check-in system set in place at each of our services. If you are a new family or just visiting, please visit our Welcome Table to get connected and receive step-by step instructions on how to securely check-in your children.
Safety Priority:
At Selah Hills, safety is our top priority. Every volunteer and staff member that serves at Selah Hills must go through a background check to ensure the safety of your children.
We also have a secured check-in process where each child and parent will receive a matching sticker with the child's check-in code. This process ensures that each child is checked in and out by the same parent with their specific code. If a parent is needed in the children's ministry, our team will submit the child's code to the tech team, who will then notify the parent by putting their corresponding code on the main screen.
