THE MISSION & VISION OF SELAH HILLS CHURCH

Everything at Selah Hills centers on one name; Jesus. Not a program, not a preference, not a personality — a Person. His glory is not merely one of our values; it is the very reason we exist. Every sermon preached, every song sung, every act of service rendered — all of it is an offering laid at His feet. As Paul writes, "Whatever you do… do all in the name of the Lord Jesus" (Colossians 3:17). This is our anchor and compass. From the youngest child to the oldest saint, our purpose is to point away from ourselves and toward the sufficiency and supremacy of Christ.

KNOWING HIM

👉🏻 It all begins here...

...with the life-altering reality of salvation through Jesus Christ. To know Him (John 17:3) is to be adopted as His sons and daughters, and made entirely new (John 1:12, 2 Corinthians 5:17). At Selah Hills, we believe this relationship is nurtured primarily through the diligent proclamation of, and devotion to, God’s Word. Because "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God" (Romans 10:17), we saturate our gatherings, ministries, and daily lives with sound biblical teaching. In His love, we invite every generation to draw near to Christ our Lord and abide in Him.

GROWING TOGETHER

👉🏻 We are not called to walk alone.

In Christ, we have been brought into a sanctifying community of brothers and sisters. This flourishing family is meant to be regularly experienced, not occasionally observed (Hebrews 10:24-25). As the body of Christ, we bear one another’s burdens and build each other up in love, submitting our lives to the Scriptures. In this way, we are being "built together into a spiritual house" (1 Peter 2:5). Because Christ-like Koinonia is cultivated through every season of life — connect groups, serve teams, and Bible studies are not add-ons — they are essential means of growth.

GOING FORTH IN HIS NAME

As servants and stewards of Christ, we are sent to our neighbors, our city, and the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8). Everything at Selah Hills is designed to move people forward — from salvation to sanctification to service — equipping every believer as a faithful witness of Jesus Christ through the truth of His Word. We aim to see disciples developed, missionaries sent, and believers multiplied. The Great Commandment fuels the Great Commission, and because the harvest is plentiful and the need is urgent, we go forth in His name!
